My daughter started at Boys and Girls at the beginning of April and I would highly recommend this nursery. The staff were very patient when helping me work out days and hours and made the whole process very easy. The settling in sessions were great and it was nice to watch for a little on the CCTV. Now, whenever I pick my daughter up from nursery I always find her smiling and playing and the staff throughout the nursery are always so friendly and welcoming. The staff in the toddler room are fantastic. They are always very friendly and caring and sometimes my daughter can be a bit shy at drop off, they always find a way to make her happy to go. The food is lovely and my daughter has tried new foods that she wouldn’t normally try at home and sometimes even has seconds! Boys and girls is a great nursery, lovely staff, good facilities and exactly what you’d want from a nursery.
I worked here many years ago when I was still fairly new to the Childcare world and although the disagreements I could NOT recommend this nursery more they deserve EVERY bit of praise they get because it is such an amazing nursery with top care, the staff are on point, they support the children, follow the EYFS to the t in every activity and I really think this has to be the best nursery around the area!!! Well done Boys & girls!

In the last few months I have seen massive improvements at the nursery and I could not be happier with the service that they provide. Sandra is an amazing manager and the parents at the nursery are all very happy with the positive changes that we have seen. My children are taking part in lovely activities everyday and the parents are much more involved with the nursery. We have regular newsletters and we recently had our first parents evening which was great. It is a shame that some parents who have left did not stick around to see the changes at the nursery. The new assistant manager is also great.
Wow! the New Manager Sandra is Excellent she really knows her stuff and truly is there for the children.

Mother Nature science is such a great idea it has made science fun for my little boy encouraging him to want to learn more. The camp challenges the children in such a way that it makes them want to keep coming back to investigate what else science can bring them. This of course has a lot to do with the teachers and those who are behind the scenes of the planning of all the camps. I would highly recommend this as a great camp to send your children too, well worth the money and the smile my little boy had on his face after each camp he attended. He enjoyed learning new experiments each day and couldn’t wait for the next day to come round.
My daughter and I love this place! It's good that the kids are having fun learning science.

As of writing this review, I'm a Year 12 student who's been in the school for almost six years, and I'm taking A-Levels in Maths, Further Maths, Physics, Computer Science and French. Thus, I feel I'm more experienced than most other reviewers to talk about the school. Firstly, let me say that this is no grammar or private school. Not everyone's parents have hundreds of thousands of pounds to send their children, and not everyone finds irrational joy in studying eight hours a day every day after school. Most people are just your average person, but for me, that's perfect. You'll get to know most of the people in your year, and perhaps in the years above and below you, too. Friendship groups form quickly and easily, and many are happy to accept other students. In the older years (Year 10 onwards), people start to socialise with others outside their friendship group, and I enjoy the social scene here. In my case, being able to talk to extremely talented people is an opportunity I wouldn't exchange for anything: I've grown attached to my friends as though they were family. And, while not everyone here is a four A*-type student, we certainly get those types: every year, we have students who get all A*s and go off to Oxford or Cambridge. If you aspire to be one of those students, don't write off Claremont just because you think you'll do better by going to another school! The teachers are also incredibly polite, for the most part. (Of course, there are teachers who the younger students would consider strict, but as you grow older, you'll see that it's just the different teaching personalities they adopt, and in reality, they aren't really that strict after all—your class were just really annoying!) They devote plenty of time and effort into ensuring every student succeeds academically and as a person. Their lessons are usually very well-planned, but their devotion to their students truly shines when one of them asks for help or discusses a topic with a teacher that they're both passionate about. This is especially helpful in the Sixth Form, where you'll often find yourself wanting to stimulate your own interest in the subject! Every week, we also hold competitions and clubs for all lower years, from sports to chess; we also have a few more unorthodox ones such as a cybersecurity/hacking club. The extracurricular scene is a bit lacking for the Sixth Form, though, but since you're allowed to leave when you don't have lessons, you probably won't need it. We have an active student body which includes a Prefect Team and a Student Voice, both of which allow students to suggest changes to improve the school. And while Claremont is by no means perfect, I thoroughly enjoy my time here, and I could not imagine having a better experience at any other school.
It’s very big. The teachers there are very nice, it is super big and it has a population of 1489 children!!!! 😮 😯 😲 wow!!

My child is in year 7 now, and it is her first year. My daughter and I absolutely love the school; for a start the food can be incredible at times! For example, my daughter told me there were amazing meringues with strawberries! The extra curricular activities are amazing - there are things like cheerleading , trampolining, a rock climbing wall, swimming, dance, badminton ,tennis, and pretty much anything you could think of! The teaching is to a good quality and the children are provided with textbooks! There are many facilities including a performing arts centre , indoor teaching space and many others. If you go to the website there is a virtual tour! There are many shows and opportunities for the girls to shine! The teachers are really nice and supportive. I DEFINITELY recommend this school - its academic results are incredible , being one of the top schools in the Uk, second to none!
My daughter has been at the school since reception and is about to go into year 8. It is an absolutely oustanding school on every single count. Academically it's second to none but the same goes for all the extra curricular activities too. Drama, Art, Music and everything else you can think of are done with the same enthusiasm and professionalism and dedication as the work on the academic curriculum.

As a parent of children that have attended the school, I cannot recommend it enough. The teachers and headmaster are professional, friendly, fair and provide an outstanding environment for children to learn and thrive in. I felt that my children were supported and encouraged in all areas of their learning and when they found things challenging, the staff couldn’t be more helpful and appreciative of their efforts. If ever there was a problem, the teachers spoke to my children and it was dealt with in a kind and caring way. Obviously the teaching is to a high standard because the working world is very competitive and nowadays we need to go above and beyond but my children were never made to feel like they were in competition with others in their classes; they only have happy memories of their time at Alpha.
We have a son who is in year three and is a very happy child who loves the environment the school provides. He has gone from being a shy young child to a very confident child since being at Alpha and this is all down to the teaching staff nurturing him and encouraging him to be the very best he can. It is a great school and we have recommended it to many parents over the years without hesitation.

I'm at the end of my year for year 6, and I have to say that this year was my favourite seeing as I passed the SATs thanks to the wonderful teacher Miss Gold, she is really good when teaching spag and maths and english mostly however sometimes she does become strict, but that does not change my point of view when I see marlborough. In my opinion it was a good school year I would recommend your child staying here.
I left Marlborough Primary School in 2017. Mrs Byron arrived in September as the new Headteacher and everyone was full of loads of negative comments. Some of these were really nasty and sometimes even racist and I can see from the reviews, are still going on since I left. In the last year I was there Mrs Byron had already done tons to improve the school and she always involved me and my friends in year 6 in making changes. We had no assemblies before she arrived, no opportunities to go on school trips or go to sports competitions, and lessons were really bad. Then the rubbish teachers started leaving! Miss Bourne became a Year 6 teacher. She was quite strict and made us work really hard but she was also lots of fun and me and my friends passed the SATs because of her help. I was really happy I got greater depth in the tests. At the end of Year 6 children even got to go to Barcelona for a week! Now I miss Marlborough Primary School and love hearing about how much it has changed. Mrs Byron has done so much for the children. I wish I could go back!

Excellent teachers and very happy with my my Son and Daughter's progress. Individual attention given and staff encourage them to achieve their full potential. Very grateful for all the staff for their dedication and hard work. Keep up the excellent work Phoebe!!!
Bright Young Things is the best out there as far as tuition goes. It was so nice to visit the super friendly Harrow branch, I was immediately struck by the lovely atmosphere, the staff were competent, smiley and charming and the standard of teaching truly outstanding.

Thank you to all at Achieve for your first class support over the last 3 years. We recently received our son’s final primary school report and we were extremely impressed with his end of year report and scores. He thoroughly enjoyed attending the centre for his 11plus and Sat’s tutoring and also made some wonderful friendships during his time there. He is now looking forward to joining Queen Elizabeth Boys school in September. We are very happy that with your help all his hard work paid off!
We have been extremely happy with our son’s progress at Achieve. Since starting tutoring at the centre we have seen a big improvement in both his confidence and in his ability to perform better in Maths and English. During the last term at school he moved up to the top sets and we put this down to the extra push and challenge that Achieve have given him. The feedback on his progression has been excellent and we would highly recommend Achieve to others.
